Telmessos Ancient City is one of the oldest settlements in the Fethiye region, dating back thousands of years. Located in the center of modern Fethiye, it offers a unique opportunity to experience ancient history within a living city.
Telmessos was an important city of the Lycian civilization and played a key role as a cultural and trading center in the region. Over time, it came under the influence of Persians, Greeks, Romans and Byzantines, reflecting a long and layered history that shaped the area.
