Bozburun is internationally known for its traditional gulet boat construction. The town is considered one of the most important centers in the world for handcrafted wooden yachts. There are dozens of boatyards and workshops in the region, and every year newly built gulets are showcased at the Bozburun Gulet Festival. This craftsmanship has become one of the defining identities of the town.
